Ducky Quilt update
Hi There.
Well, here it is Thursday night and I finally found a spare moment to download my pictures.
Saturday I started sewing the blocks together and it just wasn't doing it for me. The light yellow turned out to be too light and was looking washed out. So back to the cutting board and I decided on the polka dot for the main fabric of the block with the bright yellow polka dot for the accent and borders. I'm glad I made the changes and I am much happier with it now. (I'll find a use for the unused blocks someday.)
I then drew a ducky shape for the quilting using my Fearless Blonde Quilting technique, picked out a great yellow variegated thread and got it quilted. I was hoping to get the binding on today but had way too many errands and a birthday dinner to make this evening for my M.I.L
Friday morning - after my coffee - the binding is top priority and then on to finish the final proof of the new BFF pattern ~ BFF Celebrate Spring ~ with 5 new Spring outfits and pets and accessories. I'll show you soon.
Don't forget to leave your comment on the BFF giveaway post dated March 8th to be in the running to win the goodies. The winner will be announced this Sunday. Good luck.

I really like the changes you made. It look great! Blue and yellow always look so good together and I love the duckies!!
The baby quilt is turning out so cute.
Oh yes - the new fabric choices are prefect! What a cute quilt - I may need one for my future grandkids. They better like ducks with all the ducky quilts I'm amassing!
The changes look so much happier, I had the same problem with a baby quilt I'm making for one of my daughters. The lemon
I chose just looked washed out and dirty, so I went with a lovely apple green, so much better. Adorable ducks you've used for this one.
it is so cute!
